We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and the content you add to the Service (pantry items, meal plans, recipes). We also collect usage data such as pages visited and features used, to improve the Service.

We use your information to provide and improve the Service, personalise your experience, send transactional emails (e.g. account confirmation), and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. AI & Your Data
When you use AI features, your prompts and pantry context are sent to our AI provider for processing. We do not use your personal food data to train AI models. Prompts are processed in real-time and not retained beyond what is necessary to generate a response.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Cookies
We use minimal cookies: one session cookie to keep you logged in, and one analytics cookie (anonymised) to understand how the Service is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. You can do this from your profile settings or by contacting us at privacy@rasomate.com. We will respond to requests within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
Rasomate is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
